Trip Information
Vision
Join us this summer in the middle east, as we partner with long-term workers to serve refugees and share the gospel. You’ll engage in home visits, community gatherings, Bible studies, and street evangelism while immersing yourself in the vibrant Middle Eastern culture. Working alongside Redeemer Goers at a local refugee center, you’ll help build relationships in a predominantly Muslim area, offering prayer and hope. This trip will provide valuable experience in sharing the gospel through storytelling and service, supporting the ongoing ministry while expanding the reach of the good news of Jesus.
What's Expected
We ask every participant to remain flexible, as plans often change, especially on the mission field. Due to the security and sensitivity of this work, we encourage participants to have some prior overseas experience and a basic familiarity with Middle Eastern culture. This background will help you better navigate the challenges of the trip and engage more effectively with the local community.
You will stay at the Marquez, a facility run by the Goers. The accommodations are simple and may lack some modern amenities. While you will have the opportunity to spend time with the Goers and learn from their experiences, please understand that not all of your time will be spent with them. There will be plenty of moments when you’ll be with just your Redeemer team exploring the city.
Our hope is that you will have many opportunities to share the gospel and follow up with refugee families, but be prepared for plans to change—it may not unfold as you expect. Ultimately, your main goal is to learn, grow, and be exposed to a new culture, while serving alongside those already working to reach this community.
