Trip Information
Vision
Join us on a unique mission as we travel to South Asia to serve and support a group of our Goers during their team gathering. Our focus on this trip is to minister to them through worship, preaching, and childcare, creating a space for rest and renewal. This opportunity is about pouring into those who are faithfully serving long-term, allowing them to recharge while we take care of their needs. It’s not about direct ministry engagement, but about coming alongside our Goers and equipping them to continue their important work.
What's Expected
We ask every participant to remain flexible, as plans often change, especially on the mission field. We'll be staying in a hotel for the duration of our time in South Asia, focused on caring for and supporting our Goers during their team gathering. If you're working in childcare, you'll be caring for their kids from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing a safe and nurturing space. Those helping with worship will lead multiple sessions, creating an atmosphere of refreshment and encouragement. This trip is less about immersing in the local culture and more about being fully present to love and care for our Goers, allowing them to be restored and equipped for their ongoing work.
Typical Day Includes
- Arrival: A day to rest, settle in, and recover from jet lag. You'll also prepare for the days ahead by setting up childcare rooms and ensuring your team is ready. Worship teams will use this time to rehearse and set up their space.
- Mornings: Begin with breakfast at the hotel. Childcare workers will then head to their rooms, ready to receive the children, while the worship team prepares to lead the day's first session.
- Afternoons: Lunch will be provided by the hotel, and childcare workers will accompany the children. Parents will pick up their kids at 4:30 p.m., leaving you with time to rest before dinner.
- Evenings: Dinner will be at the hotel, followed by free time to connect with and care for the Goers. Use this time to build relationships and offer support.
