South Asia Island Mid-Term

May 17 - July 2

Team Size: 6 | Intensity: 4/5 | Focus: Training & Evangelism

Spend 6 weeks in a South Asian megacity broadly sharing the gospel and training local believers to do the same. Participants will experience being around millions of lost and unreached people while also getting to experience the uniqueness of life on a developing island city. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with goers there to hear about further opportunities to serve in the region.

Southeast Asia Island Mid-Term

May 17 - July 2

Team Size: 4 | Intensity: 3/5 | Focus: Relational Evangelism

This trip provides a good but approachable experience whether people have been overseas before or it is their first time. Participants will work for 6 weeks to build relationships with local people in partnership with the goers that are there and the service they work with, sharing the gospel as they are able. Participants will need to be willing to work in a culturally and security sensitive way so as to not jeopardize the ongoing work of the Goers.

Japan

June 1 - 11

Team Size: 8 | Intensity: 2/5 | Focus: Exposure & Training

Participants will get to experience life in both an urban and a rural Japanese setting. While there, participants will work alongside the goers to pray for the Japanese people and potentially help train local partners. Building of trust is essential in this area and work, so participants will work to build and maintain trust with local people for the advancement of the long-term Goer’s labors.

July 6 - 16

Team Size: 8 | Intensity: 2/5 | Focus: Exposure & Training

Himalayan Region

Team Size: 6 | Intensity: 5/5 | Focus: Training & Evangelism

Participants will either be up in the mountains or down in the valleys working alongside local partners to share the gospel with people in villages where there is little to no gospel presence. As opportunity arises, there may also be training opportunities of local fellowships. This trip could involve long travel or hiking days, inclement weather, and other factors that require a healthy individual.

North Africa

June 11 - 22

Team Size: 10 | Intensity: 5/5 | Focus: Evangelism

Participants will get to work alongside a local team to share the gospel in a predominantly Muslim context. There will be long days in the hot sun, but also some opportunities to experience the fun of the city. Come prepared to spend yourself over 10 days so that even 1 person might believe the good news and begin a process of discipleship with the team on the ground. Cultural sensitivity and decent physical health are necessary.

Southeast Asia Peninsula

July 7 - 17

Team Size: 6 | Intensity: 3/5 | Focus: Exposure & Training

Participants on this trip will get to experience an entirely different kind of “the work.” They’ll focus on helping train local partners in disciple-making tools who’ll then hopefully utilize these tools among a minority population of this largely unreached region. Participants will also have the opportunity to help the Goers form and strengthen the relationships with other ministries (refugee work, youth outreach, etc.) that other trips may not experience.

Guatemala

July 10 - 17

Team Size: 25 | Intensity: 2/5 | Focus: Variety of Community Ministries

Singles and families alike are invited to come to Guatemala as we partner with Student International. Participants will have a variety of ministry opportunities in a Guatemalan city as they partner with a well established organization and team in a summer-long effort, carrying forward progress that other short-term teams have made. Participants will interact and potentially stay with a local host home. This opportunity provides a good entry point for families and singles to encounter cross-cultural ministry.

Western Europe

March 13 - 20

Team Size: 8 | Intensity: 2/5 | Focus: Evangelism and Exposure

Students will spend their Spring Break having sharing the gospel through an “English Cafe” and street evangelism among Turkish and other unreached peoples living in Berlin, Germany. Students will experience the unique world of laboring among “Diaspora Peoples,” people groups who live outside of their country of origin, adding more barriers to hearing the Good News.
